Cars I owned before I was 16. My Father taught me to drive when I was 7. We had a full service Garden Center at the time and having me and a Friend haul Fertilizer from the Warehouse to the Store would save him from doing it himself or have an employee do it. We didn’t even know we were working. I learned to drive on a 1955 IH, 3 on the Tree Pickup. Number 2 was a Jeep CJ 2a he traded for a Lawn Mower. This was great because it didn’t hold as many bags of Fertilizer so that meant we could take more trips from the Warehouse 500‘ each way. That was my first of many Jeeps and while it was given to me it was taken away as soon as he found a buyer for it.
A 49 Plymouth was given to me it had sat next to a dryer vent for many years and the engine was rusted solid. It made a place to hang out and listen to the radio as long as I kept the Battery charged.
A 56 Pontiac V 8 Automatic this is as close as I ever came to owning a Muscle Car. I purchased this car myself witch meant my Father couldn’t sell it. It had some serious engine issues but other then shooting fire out of the Air Cleaner when you accelerated it was a great field mobile. Behind the Store was our House behind that was an overgrown Apple Orchard we turned into a Dirt Track. My Father and I painted the Pontiac Corvette Blue and my thought was this would be my Car when I turned 16. I pulled the engine to rebuild it and this was a project way over my ability and the project got scrapped. My bet it was the nicest looking Car in the Junk Yard.
After the Pontiac I got a little more creative in building Field Mobiles. On a Crosley Wagon We cut off the Roof Doors and Windshield and had a little Pickup. When I did the same to a Unibody Opel It collapsed. With help we built a Rear Frame and it was back in the Orchard. A year before I turned 16 My Grandfather gave me his 53 Lime Green Dodge Meadowbrook. This was to be saved for the Road. Unfortunately when I turned 16 parts needed to repair the exhaust were unavailable and the car sat waiting for parts.
Those family members looking for power Ignored my energy and talents Long ago I turned to other outlets to satisfy my competitive and creative spirit. These are some stories. A quote from a friend Outdoor Steve "Never say I wish I had"

Vehicles I have owned
One of my Employees made a list of My Cars and Trucks. I assume because he believes I have too many. Currently I do. However most of them are part of our Business. Vehicles for daily driving alternate between my Toyota Truck I call my Travel Truck and a Jeep Wrangler and Mazda Miata. I made up a list of every vehicle that I remember and came up with 55 without counting vehicles purchase specifically for the business. Next Page I will start the list.
